Earlier this month Dr. Whitaker was honored to be the invited guest Lecturer at the Walter Reed National Military Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Whitaker delivered two lectures on skin cancer and facial reconstruction in the Surgical Symposium which is held annually for Physicians in Post-Graduate medical education.
Giving of his time and teaching has always been important to Dr. Whitaker. Prior to becoming a physician he was a decorated combat infantry officer in the U.S. Army, and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star with Oakleaf Cluster for Valor.
